One major trend that I've noticed while keeping up with my favourite high street stores back home online and checking out new ones in Tokyo is the prevalance of nudes and pinks. It's interesting that there are similarities even though we are heading into different seasons (the northern hemisphere is moving into Spring, while the southern is moving into Autumn or Fall). I guess it shows just how much these colours have become almost basics in our wardrobe.
I've seen a lot of nudes, beiges and caramels as the neutrals at the moment while pink is still riding high after rose quartz was named as one of Pantone's colours of the year in late 2015.

To make this work and not look like a beige blob, it's important to incorporate different shades and textures whilst emphasising curves. The suede wrap skirt highlights curves while adding a luxe texture. The hero piece, the pink coat, cleverly has side cut-outs which I find adds interest by creating a beautiful silhouette when moving. Each accessory also has a metallic feature which elevates the look from being simply 2 dimensional.
Below are some more nude and pink pieces that can easily be incorporated into any wardrobe for a simple trans-seasonal trend update, no matter where you are in the world.
