I have a plan to help you out!
Every Friday I will showcase my five favourite options to embrace a current trend :
THE FRIDAY 5
This week I have been loving .....
These H&M mules are a great way to subtly inject some gingham in to your wardrobe. They could just as easily be worn with slim cropped denim, a mini skirt or a maxi dress. I wouldn't wear overly fussy prints or patterns though to keep the focus solely on the shoes.

We're seeing the turban trend in headwear continue this season and this one is a great option to satisfy your gingham urge on a budget. Keep your outfit fairly simple to highlight this piece and accessorise with neutral straw accessories.

Gingham Boat Neck Top
This top is an excellent transeasonal piece. Wear tucked in to an A-line skirt and pair with flats or for a smart casual look team with dark skinny denim and nude wedges. The blue gingham is also a great option if you've had enough of the traditional black colour way.

Glo Ruffled Gingham Skirt
The wrap skirt is an incredibly flattering style on all body shapes as it cinches in at the centre of the body to either create a waist or emphasise one. Wear with a simple singlet or t-shirt and flats over Summer or team with a black knit and boots over Winter. Truly versatile, I can't gush over this one enough.

April Gingham Lace Up Block Court
These heels are another great option if you want to subtly embrace the gingham trend. Dress them up with a girly dress paired back with a leather biker jacket for the perfect juxtaposition of grunge and femininity. The block heel is also incredibly comfy!
